भारत प्राचीन काल में विश्वगुरु रहा है, क्योंकि हमारे ऋषि-मुनियों ने विश्व कल्याण हेतु ‘सर्वे भवन्तु सुखिनः’ और ‘वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम्’ का उद्घोष किया। किंतु लंबे समय तक भारत विदेशी आक्रांताओं द्वारा शोषित और शासित रहा। इसी कालखंड में उन्होंने भारत की शिक्षा, संस्कृति, अर्थव्यवस्था एवं सामाजिक व्यवस्था को छिन्न-भिन्न कर दिया। जो जाति व्यवस्था कर्म आधारित थी, वह धीरे-धीरे जन्म आधारित हो गई। कुछ जातियों को अमानवीय स्थिति में डालकर अस्पृश्य घोषित कर दिया। स्वतंत्रता के बाद कानून बनाकर अस्पृश्यता, यानी छुआछूत को दंडनीय अपराध घोषित किया गया, तो कुछ राहत मिली। इसके पूर्व भी हमारे संतों व समाज-सुधारकों ने इस जाति-पाँति आधारित भेदभाव का खंडन और विरोध किया था।
आधुनिक संदर्भ में जाति-पाँति, रंग, भाषा, क्षेत्र, लिंग आदि पर आधारित सभी प्रकार की विषमताओं को समाप्त कर एक समरस समाज के निर्माण की नितांत आवश्यकता है। सर्वस्पर्शी, सर्वसमावेशी समतामूलक समरस समाज ही स्वस्थ और सुखी समाज हो सकता है। सशक्त व अखंड राष्ट्र के लिए सामाजिक समरसता अनिवार्य है। चूँकि सबके साथ से ही सबका विकास एवं सबका विश्वास संभव है। देश के सबसे बड़े सांस्कृतिक संगठन राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ ने आरंभ से ही इस चुनौती को स्वीकार कर समरस व जातिविहीन समाज के निर्माण का संकल्प लिया था। समरसता हेतु चल रहे इस महायज्ञ में एक आहुति के रूप में यह पुस्तक ‘छुआछूत मुक्त समरस भारत’ प्रस्तुत है।

वस्तुस्थिति यह है कि हिंदू-विरोध या भारत-विरोध ही पाकिस्तान को जोड़े हुए है। यह विरोध ही उसके वजूद की बुनियाद है। पाकिस्तान के हुक्मरानों ने बांग्लादेश के घटनाविकास से कोई सबक ग्रहण नहीं किया। पाकिस्तान का यह दुर्भाग्य रहा है कि वहाँ आरंभ से ही साजिशों के भीतर साजिशें पकती रही हैं।
पाकिस्तान में आम लोग आतंकवाद के विरुद्ध हैं, लेकिन वे मजहबी कट्टरवाद के समर्थक हैं। हमारे देश के जागरूक नागरिकों को अपने इस विलक्षण पड़ोसी देश के बारे में अधिक-से-अधिक जानकारी प्राप्त करने की जरूरत है। कटु यथार्थ है कि पड़ोस में लगने वाली आग की आँच से बचना मुश्किल है। इस पुस्तक में पाकिस्तान से संबंधित ऐतिहासिक तथ्यों, राजनीतिक सच्चाइयों और आर्थिक विसंगतियों को उजागर किया गया है। पाकिस्तान के सभी गंभीर पर्यवेक्षकों के लिए यह पुस्तक अपरिहार्य है।

This book revisits the original sources on Prithviraj Chauhan with a critical lens, analyzing the claims, omissions, and contradictions within both Sanskrit and vernacular traditions. It offers evidence based re-examination of the Prithviraj Vijay Mahakavyam, revealing its limitations and questioning its long-held authority as a historical source. It uncovers the omissions and inaccuracies within Jayanak’s text while re-establishing the Prithviraj Raso as the most original and authentic account of the emperor’s life. In doing so, it exposes the layers of bias that shaped modern interpretations-bias born from colonial historians as well as later scholars influenced by literary rivalries, political motivations, and regional conflicts. Hitherto, scholars have looked at Hinduism through the eyes of Christianity and Islam, but here an attempt has been made to discuss them from the viewpoint of Hindu spirituality. The two prophetic religions have a long history of conflict but they also share a common spiritual perspective. Almost from their birth, they have been systematic persecutors of pagan religions, cultures and nations. In the heyday of their domination, they acquired great prestige and their viewpoint prevailed also in judging the victims. In this book, the author questions the victors’ standard of judgment and looks at their religious premises afresh. He discusses monotheism and prophetism – the ideology of a god who has a chosen people (and also chosen enemies), but whom they know only indirectly through a favored intermediary; he discusses the doctrines of a single life and a single judgment; he discusses the dogmas of iconoclasm, jihad, Missions and conversion. He looks at all these basic concepts and practices of prophetic religions from the viewpoint of the Yoga and finds that they have little spiritual merit. The author also discusses yogic and non-yogic samadhis, and how the two project their own respective revelations, gods and ethical codes. He holds that the god of prophetic religions is not a spiritual being but he embodies a fanatic and intolerant idea.

Several factors have contributed to the growth of Muslim population in India-invading armies with their retinues, constant recruitment of soldiers from across the borders, red-carpet welcome extended to immigrants from Muslim countries, forcible conversions, proselytization by means of pressures and temptations, large-scale polygamy with Hindu women, and the proverbial Muslim fecundity enjoined by express statements of the Prophet who wanted his flock to be more numerous than any other people. Dr. K.S. Lal has documented in some fulness how the continued wars of conquest waged by the Islamic invaders ensured a constant supply of Hindu prisoners of war who were sold and resold as slaves and who eventually ended up by feeding the Muslim population. It may sound cruel but the Theology of Islam does prescribe capture and enslavement of non-combatant men, women and children of the infidels as a part of the legitimate booty promised by Allah to those who fight for enforcing his commandments. The history of Islam is replete with this practice. On the other hand, Dr. Lal examines in some detail and refutes conclusively the oft-repeated theory that the Hindu caste system was responsible for conversions to Islam. He points out that the countries in the Middle East, Central Asia and North Africa had no caste system and yet they succumbed completely to the onslaught of Islam. Hindus by and large resisted conversion even when the choice was between Islam and death; the pride they took in their caste, as in their religion and culture, was one of the powerful factors which prevented the Islamization of India. Micro-studies of Muslim communities in larger India including Afganistan will reveal that very few of their ancestors converted by choice to the invader’s faith, and that an overwhelming majority of them are Hindus in their origin, stock and religion. Such studies will also reveal to the Hindus that the so-called Muslims are mostly their own brothers, the lost tribes of Hinduism, who were separated from their fraternity under very special circumstances. Professor Kishori Saran Lal (1920-2002) took his doctorate degree in Medieval Indian History from the University of Allahabad in 1945. He has published a number of articles and monographs on Medieval Indian History About his History of the Khaljis (revised, 1967), the Times Literary Supplement, London, wrote: This book is unlikely to be superseded. इस्लाम के साथ सामंजस्य का मतलब है उस की ओर से आती रहने वाली क्रमशः अंतहीन माँगें (डॉ. अंबेदकर ने कहा था, ‘मुसलमानों की माँगे हनुमान जी की पूँछ की तरह बढ़ती जाती हैं’) पूरी करते जाना। प्रोफेट मुहम्मद अपनी माँगों में कभी नहीं रुके,जब तक कि उन की 100% माँगें पूरी नहीं हो गईं। वही मुसलमानों के आदर्श हैं। इसलिए काफिरों के लिए कोई आसानी का रास्ता नहीं।
उन्हें समझ लेना होगा कि इस्लाम उस एक चीज – जिहाद – को कभी नहीं छोड़ेगा, जिस से उसे आज तक सारी सफलता मिली! इस्लाम की सारी सफलता राजनीतिक समर्पण की माँग, दोहरेपन और हिंसा पर आधारित है। बेचारा काफिर जो बदलना चाहता है वह यही चीज है – हिंसा, दबाव, हुज्जत, और राजनीति। जबकि काफिर से समर्पण की माँग करना और हिंसा करना, यही इस्लाम की सफलता का गुर रहा है। अतः हिंसा, दबाव, हुज्जत, और माँगें कभी नहीं रुकने वाली, क्योंकि वह 1400 वर्षों से काम कर रही हैं। आज तो वह पहले किसी भी समय से अधिक काम कर रही हैं! भारत में ही किसी भी हिन्दू नेता का भाषण सुन लीजिए।

Two sets of developments have become quite visible over the last fewyears. While scores of activists belonging to Hindu organisations havebeen killed by radical Islamists; there Is also a growing clamour within a sectionof Indian Muslims to assert their religious identity aggressively and display itexplicitly.
There are some crucial aspects of radicalisation of Muslims in India thatneed to be understood. First, unlike the western world, radicalisation in India ishappening not only in urban areas but also in far flung as well as remote ruralareas. The population in rural India needs to be watched and monitored moreclosely in this regard. Second, radicalisation in India has been ‘legitimised’ in thename of ‘protecting minority rights’ by many political parties for garneringMuslim votes. Their regressive stand on issues like hijab and silence on thekilling of Hindu activists by radical Islamists further perpetuates radicalisation.Third, as a society we are refusing to learn lessons from the past. Radicalisationof Muslims led to partition of India in 1947. It is time not to be like that pigeonwho closes eyes thinking the cat doesn’t exist and ends getting eaten up.
