From time of cognitive revolution, man was
curious to understand the creation and its relationship to him. His primary goal was to be
happy. He wanted to know and experience how
the creation ñ its true light ñ can direct, teach,
contribute and hold him to reach that goal. This untiring search for
the true light, resulted in the blossoming of the thoughts enshrined
in the Vedas. Vedas rested mostly on intuitive ideas, power ñ
reinforced by faith. Over the centuries, the search also took an
alternative route based on analytical and experimental discoveries,
generally covered under ìScienceî. Both are in search of the common ideals yet their approaches have been sometimes parallel and
divergent on a few other occasions. The truth and basics being
same, both contributed to each other knowingly or unknowingly.
The search still continues.
There are students devoted to either of the schools ñ Science
and Vedas ñ and they can see commonalities in thought, method
and principles. This book aims to strengthen their belief both in
intuitive logic and analytics based on observation. It further
explores such commonalities with an open mind, however accepting
the intermediary divergences as is.
The approach taken in this book is to keep the granules of the
elements as a mixture (i.e., each maintaining its identity) and not as
a alloy (losing their original properties to form a new idea itself) ñ

इस्लाम के साथ सामंजस्य का मतलब है उस की ओर से आती रहने वाली क्रमशः अंतहीन माँगें (डॉ. अंबेदकर ने कहा था, ‘मुसलमानों की माँगे हनुमान जी की पूँछ की तरह बढ़ती जाती हैं’) पूरी करते जाना। प्रोफेट मुहम्मद अपनी माँगों में कभी नहीं रुके,जब तक कि उन की 100% माँगें पूरी नहीं हो गईं। वही मुसलमानों के आदर्श हैं। इसलिए काफिरों के लिए कोई आसानी का रास्ता नहीं।
उन्हें समझ लेना होगा कि इस्लाम उस एक चीज – जिहाद – को कभी नहीं छोड़ेगा, जिस से उसे आज तक सारी सफलता मिली! इस्लाम की सारी सफलता राजनीतिक समर्पण की माँग, दोहरेपन और हिंसा पर आधारित है। बेचारा काफिर जो बदलना चाहता है वह यही चीज है – हिंसा, दबाव, हुज्जत, और राजनीति। जबकि काफिर से समर्पण की माँग करना और हिंसा करना, यही इस्लाम की सफलता का गुर रहा है। अतः हिंसा, दबाव, हुज्जत, और माँगें कभी नहीं रुकने वाली, क्योंकि वह 1400 वर्षों से काम कर रही हैं। आज तो वह पहले किसी भी समय से अधिक काम कर रही हैं! भारत में ही किसी भी हिन्दू नेता का भाषण सुन लीजिए।
यह पुस्तक राजनीतिक इस्लाम और कम्युनिज्म के स्वरूपों पर, भिन्न-भिन्न देशों के तीन बड़े विद्वानों के प्रमाणिक

भौतिक सुखों में लिप्त भारतीयों की वर्तमान पीढ़ी के लिए आज यह विश्वास करना कठिन है आज से 2 हजार वर्ष से भी प्राचीन काल से भारतीय अपनी वीरता, साहस व उद्यमशीलता के बल पर पश्चिम में कैस्पियन सागर के तट से लेकर सुदूर पूर्व में फिलीपर्पीस व पूर्वी तिमोर तक अपनी बस्तियां बसाने में सफल रहे थे। भारतीयों के यह उपनिवेश, सांस्कृक्तिक उपनिवेश अवश्य थे, परंतु उन्होंने स्थानीय रीति-रिवाजों व उत्सवों को भी अपने में समाहित किया। इस दृष्टि से भारतीयों के यह उपनिवेश ईसाइयों तथा मुस्लिमों द्वारा स्थापित औपनिवेशिक व राजनैतिक साम्राज्यों से भिन्न थे जहाँ मिथ्यावादन, धूर्तता, छल व हिंसा का प्रयोग करके स्थानीय संस्कृक्ति को उजाड़ दिया गया था।
कंबोडिया अथवा कंबोज में भारतीय उपनिवेश की स्थापना प्रथम व द्वितीय शताब्दी ईस्वी से ही एक सिलसिलेवार ढंग से होनी शुरू हो गई थी। कंबोज में भारतीय सांस्कृक्तिक उपनिवेश स्थापित करने का श्रेय कौडिन्य नामक भारतीय ब्राह्मण को दिया जाता है जो दूसरी शताब्दी ईस्वी में यहाँ आया था। परंतु निश्चय ही कंबोज के तटीय क्षेत्रों में तथा निकटवर्ती जावा व सुमात्रा में भारतीय व्यापारिक बस्तियां इससे पूर्व भी रही होंगी, जिनका कुछ-कुछ संकेत जातक कथाओं में भी मिलता है, दृष्टांत के लिए समुद्द वणिज बौद्ध जातक कथा में, मिथिला के राजकुमार महाजनक द्वारा सुवर्णभूमि (आधुनिक सुमात्रा) की यात्रा का वर्णन है। कंबोज के राजाओं द्वारा निर्मित भव्य हिन्दू मंदिर आज भी विश्व के अनूठे आश्चर्यो में गिने जाते हैं। 1860 में, फ्रेंच प्रकृतिवादी तथा अन्वेषक, हेनरी मौहोत ने कंबोज स्थित विश्व के सबसे बड़े विष्णु मंदिर अंगकोरवाट से पाश्चात्य जगत को परिचित कराया। बक्सेई चामक्रोंग का शिव मंदिर, बायोन का बुद्ध मंदिर, कोह केर का शिव मंदिर, बन्तेय छमार का बुद्ध मंदिर इत्यादि भी उल्लेखनीय हैं।
यह पुस्तक डॉ. रमेश चंद्र मजूमदार द्वारा 1944 में लिखित मूल पुस्तक का हिन्दी अनुवाद है। वह प्रथम भारतीय थे जिन्होंने कंबोज में भारतीय संस्कृति की प्राचीन उपस्थिति को साक्ष्य के साथ विश्व के सामने रखा था।

15 अगस्त, 1947 को स्वतंत्रता प्राप्ति के बाद भी पाकिस्तान शांति से नहीं बैठा था। उसकी योजना मुख्यतः तीन राज्यों को हड़पने की थी, जूनागढ़, हैदराबाद तथा जम्मू और कश्मीर। प्रथम दो में उसे सरदार पटेल की दृढ़ता के कारण सफलता नहीं मिली, परंतु तीसरा राज्य पंडित जवाहर लाल नेहरू का गृह राज्य था, अतएव इसके संबंध में सरदार पटेल को खुली छूट न मिल सकी। उधर कश्मीर के महाराजा हरि सिंह व उनका मंत्री रामचन्द्र काक जम्मू व कश्मीर को एक स्वतंत्र राज्य बनाए रखने की महत्वाकांक्षा पाले हुए थे। इन्हीं भ्रम की स्थितियों में अक्टूबर 1947 को कबायलियों को सामने रखते हुए पाकिस्तानी सेना ने कश्मीर पर हमला बोल दिया। क्योंकि महाराजा ने भारत अथवा पाकिस्तान में विलय होने के संबंध में कोई निर्णय नहीं लिया था, अतएव भारत अपनी सेनाएं नहीं भेज सका, फलतः कश्मीर का एक बड़ा हिस्सा तेजी से हमलावरों के हाथ में चला गया। भारत अपनी सेनाएं 26 अक्टूबर, 1947 के बाद ही भेज सका जब महाराजा ने कश्मीर के भारत में अधिग्रहण के कागजों पर हस्ताक्षर कर दिए।
यह पुस्तक पाकिस्तान के मेजर जनरल अकबर खान ने लिखी है तथा इस पुस्तक का महत्व इस बात से है कि यह कश्मीर में पाकिस्तानी सेना के हस्तक्षेप का एक जीता-जागता प्रमाण है। एक पख्तून होने के नाते उन्होंने बेबाकी के साथ तथ्यों का विवरण दिया है। यद्यपि उन्होंने कबायलियों द्वारा हिन्दू व सिख निवासियों पर किए गए अत्याचार की पूरी तरह से अनदेखी कर दी है तथापि, अन्य विवरण सत्य के निकट हैं।
इस पूरे प्रकरण में सबसे गंभीर तथ्य, आजाद हिन्द फौज के कुछ पूर्व मुस्लिम सैनिकों का पाकिस्तान की ओर से भारत के विरुद्ध युद्ध करना था। यह उन लोगों के लिए एक अत्यंत अविश्वसनीय घटना थी जो इस्लाम की मूल प्रवृत्ति से अनभिज्ञ थे। इसे अपवाद मान कर उपेक्षित नहीं किया जा सकता।
पांडु की चोटी पर भारतीयों की विफलता का विवरण एक सबक सीखने के काम आ सकता है। किसी भी युद्ध में पीछे हटना, पूर्ण विनाश की पूर्व-भूमिका होती है, यदि पीछे हटने के मार्ग में पर्याप्त सुरक्षा की व्यवस्था नहीं की गई हो।
पुस्तक के अंत के अध्यायों में लेखक विभिन्न रणनीतियों की चर्चा करता है जो भारतीय सेना के लिए तथा आम भारतीयों के लिए भी अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण है। हन्निबल, सिकंदर तथा बाबर की युद्ध नीति का वर्णन, लेखक के उस इतिहास बोध को दर्शाता है जिसका हम भारतीयों में नितांत अभाव है। आज यदि हम जम्मू कश्मीर के खोए हुए भाग को वापस चाहते हैं तो हमें इतिहास से सबक लेना होगा तथा एक रणनीति के तहत कार्य करना होगा। यदि हम ऐसा नहीं करते तो शत्रु वही करेगा जो करता आ रहा है। यदि हमने वर्तमान सीमाओं पर संतोष कर लिया तो हमें एक दिन उसे भी खोना पड़ सकता है। हम अपनी सीमाओं को तभी कायम रख सकते हैं, जब सतत उसे आगे बढ़ाने की चेष्टा करते रहें। वैश्विक परिदृश्य में यथास्थिति जैसी कोई वस्तु नहीं होती, यथास्थिति में रहने वाले को पीछे हटना ही पड़ता है।

Kashmir is called the Garden of Rishis (Reshiver). Kashyapa Rishi, considered the founder of Kashmir mandala, is one of the Saptrishis mentioned in the Rig Veda. He is considered to be the Prajapati or progenitor of mankind. The pristine nature of Kashmir nurtured a host of sages or rishis in its bosom like Bharat Muni, Utpaladeva, Panini and many others who carry the credit of making Kashmir the land of Vedic knowledge and the ancient centre of learning. The rishi tradition in Kashmir has been very powerful and continued to be inherited by the Hindus of the valley until the advent of Islam in the 14th century.
Rajatarangini, the celebrated history of ancient Kashmir brought down up to CE 1149, gives excellent account of the impact of Rishi teachings on the people of the land, the foremost of which was non-violence and peaceful coexistence. Rishi teachings and their lives were the role model for the people of ancient Kashmir to be tied down to the unwritten constitution of nature which means that their teachings had gone into the blood and become part of entire social structure. The fact is that the teachings of those rishis can be called the foundation on which the huge edifice of Kashmiriyat was raised.
The advent of the Islamic faith in Kashmir through the Muslim missionaries of Iran and Central Asia is a unique phenomenon in the history of mankind. Firstly, the entire basis of the religion brought from Arabia was in no way similar to those that had flourished in Kashmir for centuries. Secondly, the tribal culture which had shaped the religious construct of the Muhammadans was fully alien to the culture of the people in ancient Kashmir. Thirdly, and very significantly, the Iranian or Central Asian missionaries who brought the Islamic faith to Kashmir were the progeny of proselytised ancestors of Aryan stock and not of Semitic stock. Psychologists and anthropologists tell us that a society entirely converting to a new faith, for whatever reasons, generally panders to extremism in the new faith just because either it wants to convince the conqueror of its faithfulness to the new civilization or vies with the conqueror to prove that he is a better adherent to the new faith brought to him. This is exemplified by the animus and hatred which today’s Iran nurses against the Israelis.
This is a book in which, the author has inserted photographs of numerous temples, shrines (asthapans), viharas, stupas, ponds, water bodies, hillocks, structures etc. most of these in dilapidated condition owing to the vagaries of weather and eccentricities of human nature. The author has visited most of these places personally and described how arduous journeys he had to undertake to get their photographs and make a small note culled out from books of history or from the stories collected from the local elders who have inherited the stories from their elders. Being a retired military officer, he thankfully acknowledges the logistic support he received from his friends in the services and which helped him immensely in writing this account.SKU: n/a -

On 15 August 1947 India attained independence but the Hindus of the State of Jammu and Kashmir, particularly those in the valley lost it for two reasons. One was the Pakistan sponsored tribal attack on 22 October 1947, and the second was the incorporation of a clause of Special Status for J&K in the Indian Constitution. Incorporation of this clause was tantamount to writing the death warrant of the minuscule Kashmiri Hindu (Pandit) religious minority of the valley. New Delhi snatched J&K from the hands of a benign secular ruler and gave into the hands of a rabid despot, who, through dubious maneuvering and machinations established his dynastic rule over J&K with the patronage of the contemporary Sultans of Delhi.
The book in hand is a sordid saga of the atrocities, discrimination, blackmail and repression unleashed by fanatical and fundamentalist Kashmir Valley leadership moving about wearing a mask of “secular democracy” for seven long decades, of course with the sadistic patronage of New Delhi. Few communities in the world have suffered what the Kashmiri Hindus suffered viz. discrimination, suppression, ethnic cleansing, genocide and exile. They are refugees in their own country. And what is more, 73 years have gone by and no state or central government, no human rights organization, no NGO and no international organization ever demanded an impartial inquiry into this huge human tragedy that has resulted in the genocide of nearly two thousand people and the extirpation of the entire community of about five hundred thousand souls from their five thousand years old homes and hearths in Kashmir, The contents of this volume will make one understand what religious bigotry and persecution mean. The authors have been an eye witness to the entire saga, nay, they have been part of this sordid narrative and a such nothing can be more authentic than what they have recorded.

सरकारी दस्तावेजों का हवाला दिया है, जो उन्हें उपलब्ध हो पाये। लेखक ने तथ्यों और साक्ष्यों को

अस्त्र-शस्त्र का उत्तर अस्त्र-शस्त्र से देना उचित है। लेकिन विचारों का उत्तर तो विचार ही हो सकता है। किसी विचार, किसी लेख-कविता या पुस्तक के उत्तर में तलवार निकालना मजबूती नहीं, कमजोरी की निशानी है। किन्तु अरब से लेकर यूरोप, एसिया, अफ्रीका तक, हर कहीं इस्लामी नेता और संगठन सरल, संयत, वैचारिक संघर्ष से बचते हैं। इसे सदैव हिंसा से दबाने की कोशिश करते हैं। सदियों से, बल्कि आरंभ से ही, इस में कोई बदलाव नहीं आया है। स्वयं प्रोफेट मुहम्मद ने अपने विचारों पर किसी के प्रतिवाद, संदेह का यही उत्तर दिया था।
तब क्या इस्लाम कागजी शेर नहीं है? एक दुर्बल, भयभीत मतवाद, जो केवल धमकी, हिंसा, छल-कपट, अनुचित रूप से उठाई जा रही विशेष सुविधाओं, अनुचित-असमान नियमों के बल से चल रहा है। ऐसा मत-विश्वास कितने दिन चलता रह सकता है? यह एक बुनियादी प्रश्न है, जिस से भारत और वर्तमान विश्व की कई समस्याएं जुड़ी हुई हैं।
इस समस्या का समाधान सैनिक तरीके से नहीं, बल्कि शिक्षा में है। ध्यान दें, कुरान में असंख्य बार कई प्रसंगों में ‘प्रमाण’, ‘स्पष्ट प्रमाण’, की बातें की गई है। अतः मुसलमान किसी विचार-बिन्दु, विषय में प्रमाण, सबूत, एविडेंस के महत्व से परिचित हैं। केवल उन्हें प्रमाण वाली कसौटी को उन विचारों, कानूनों, विवरणों, दलीलों पर भी लागू करके देखने की जरूरत है जिन्हें वे स्वतः-प्रमाणिक मानते रहे हैं। जैसे, मूर्तिपूजकों को घृणित समझना; इस्लाम से पहले या बाहर के मानव-समाजों को मूर्ख मानना; जीने के बदले मरने को अधिक अच्छा मानकर ‘जन्नत’ पाने के लिए हर तरह के चित्र-विचित्र काम करना; जिहाद को सब से बड़ा कर्तव्य समझना; मनुष्य को गुलाम बनाकर बेचना-खरीदना; स्त्रियों को वस्तु-संपत्ति मात्र भोग रूप में देखना; आदि मान्यताओं को विवेक से देखने की जरूरत है। ये मान्यताएं कोई ईश्वरीय देन या ‘सर्वकालिक सत्य’ नहीं हैं – इस की परीक्षा की जानी और शिक्षा दी जानी चाहिए। (पुस्तक अंश)

प्रस्तुत ग्रन्थ की रचना का उद्देश्य पाश्चात्य अनुभववाद और उसके विभिन्न ज्ञानमीमांसीय सिद्धान्तों का आलोचनात्मक अध्ययन है। आधुनिक एवम् समकालीन पाश्चात्य दर्शन का केन्द्र-बिन्दु ज्ञानमीमांसा है। यत्र-तत्र लॉक, बर्कले, ह्यूम, विट्गेंस्टाइन, एयर, राइल, ऑस्टिन, जेम्स और काँट के दर्शन से सम्बन्धित ज्ञानमीमांसीय समस्याओं का विस्तृत विवेचन किया गया है। विशेषतः कार्नेप, राइल, श्लिक, विट्गेंस्टाइन, ऑस्टिन, एयर एवं वियना सर्किल के अन्य दार्शनिकों के सन्दर्भ में अनुभववाद की मुख्य स्थापनाओं का तुलनात्मक और समीक्षात्मक अध्ययन, इस पुस्तक के महत्त्व को और बढ़ा देता है। काँट ने तो दर्शनशास्त्र को ज्ञानमीमांसा के रूप में ही सम्भव माना है। प्रस्तुत ग्रन्थ में बहुत ही सुबोध शैली में पाश्चात्य दार्शनिक सिद्धान्तों के अतिरिक्त अन्य भारतीय ज्ञानमीमांसीय पद्धतियों का विवेचन किया गया है जो कि प्रथम अध्याय में ‘ज्ञान का स्वरुप’ शीर्षक के अन्तर्गत वर्णित है।
इस ग्रन्थ में ज्ञान की प्रामाणिकता का विवेचन सत्यता के निकषों के माध्यम से प्रस्तुत किया गया है। इसका विवेचन मैंने इस ग्रन्थ के अन्तिम अध्याय में विस्तारपूर्वक किया है l

जो लोग इस्लाम की आड़ में ‘लॉ लेसनेस’ करते हैं, वे स्वयं इस्लाम के आधारभूत स्तंभों का पालन नहीं करते। अतः कुरान हदीस के अनुसार उन्हें मोमिन नहीं कहा जा सकता। ऐसे लोग तो वस्तुतः बनावटी मुसलमान है। इस्लाम इनके लिए अवैध आपराधिक कार्यों के लिए एक ढाल भर है, इनको इस्लाम में कोई आस्था नहीं है। कुरान के अनुसार, उन्हें इस्लाम के नाम पर मस्जिद, मदरसा, कब्रिस्तान, मजार, दरगाह आदि पर और उनके प्रबंध पर कोई भी हक नहीं है।

RAIDERS IN KASHMIR
Due to its explosive admissions which strike at the foundation of Pakistan’s claims in the United Nations, the book Raiders in Kashmir written by Major General Akbar Khan, was banned in Pakistan and went out of print before being republished in India a few years ago. Major General Khan has discussed the raid of 22 October 1947 as the first example of the use of camouflage and deniability, and has gone on to become the Pakistan Army’s mainstay against India in the decades since then. This book highlights the Pakistani State’s foray into attacking India, beginning shortly after Independence.
The book consisting of twenty chapters reveals how the so called “tribesman” who marched to “liberate” Kashmir on the fateful day of 22 October 1947 were nothing but Pakistan Army regulars in disguise and the “raid” was a covert operation conceived by the Pakistan Army against the Indian State to internationalise the “Kashmir issue”. The raid of 22 October 1947 is the first example of the use of camouflage and deniability, that has gone on to become the Pakistan Army’s mainstay against India in the decades ever since.
As world attention is once again focussed on the Pakistan Army’s use of terror proxies and groups in its fight with India, this book graphically illustrates the perfidy that characterised the Pakistan Army at that time, which has remained a part of its doctrine with India.
