Pichwai – a Rajasthani Indian folk art, originated 400 yrs years ago in Nathdwara.
Pichwai paintings were traditionally hung behind idols of Lord Shrinathji (Krishna) in temples, and were used as a visual means of narrating tales/stories from his life.
This hand-painted artwork symbolises bank of Yamuna River where Lord Krishna spent much of his childhood, a land of Vraj.
Best suitable for wall decor in the living room, temple room or around dinning area as it adds an eccentric and antique touch to your room.
